What is your take on David Haye vs John Ruiz?
I think it will be a good fight, it should be entertaining and I hope Haye's arm will be raised at the end.
BTW, they are both Golden Boy fighters now... ;D

Watching Ruiz fight is even less entertaining than watching either of the Klitschko brothers in the ring. For the most part, these three fighters will put me to sleep faster than a Valium.
I'm thinking Haye will have a good night against Ruiz and get another "W", likely before the final bell is scheduled to ring.

John Ruiz? Is this a Pay Per View? Where they actually Pay ME...to watch John Ruiz?
Can't think of any other rational for watching Ruiz bore the shit out of me again. And NOW? What...five years past his best hitting and holding age?

My response to "SLUMDOG" saying that the David Haye- John Ruiz fight will be QUOTE "a good one, very entertaining" END QUOTE.
Slumdog, evidently you've never seen John Ruiz fight. Ruiz' idea of a fight plan is to throw one pathetic punch, grab his opponent & hit him behind the head several times until the referee brakes them up. A Ruiz fight finds him grabbing & hugging the other guy 90% of the fight. Ruiz hugs more in a 12-round fight than my wife has hugged me in 40 years of marriage.
Although Ruiz appears to be a nice, humble guy, he is a terrible fighter with very little boxing skills. I have to take several "pep pills" and drink lots of coffee to stay awake during a Ruiz fight, otherwise I'd fall asleep within the first round.
Ive been a boxing fan for 50 years, and as much as I love boxing, I would no longer waste my time watching any fight with Mr. Ruiz.
I hope I'm not being too harsh on John Ruiz, but it is an excrutiating task watching his fights.
"SLUMDOG" enjoy your "good fight & very entertaining" fight between Haye and Ruiz. I won't be watching.

Aw, come on Larry, don't hold back on how you feel about Ruiz and his apparent lack of entertainment value as a boxer. I'm with you on this one as per my previous post. This guy is one of the worst fighters I've ever had the displeasure of wasting my time watching fight.
Like you, I've been a boxing fan since I was a young kid. I started watching the fights on TV in the late 50's and make an effort to watch as many matches as time allows. I have to say though, I am impressed with the MMA and UFC stuff that is being televised more and more lately. I haven't seen that many "cauliflower ears" since the old days of boxing.

I think this fight can be pretty good, Ruiz is going to have to fight Haye, because Haye is going to come right at him and wing bombs.I can see both guys hitting the deck, and Ruiz has a better set of whiskers than Haye.We need a good HEAVYWEIGHT fight, i cant stand the Klitcho brothers, lets hope this can bring a little fireworks,i am not saying it will, but it could if Haye comes out swinging, Ruiz is sneaky, and it could make for some knockdowns and lets hope a knockout, I will say Ruiz KO8 with a couple of Knockdowns each, Haye will punch himself out winging Hayemakers
